Contact The Roadsters

Although we are still “Newbie RVers” in some areas, we’re quite knowledgeable in other areas.  We are still learning, but we’ve come a long way, baby!

Please share any comments or questions that you have about this site or about RVing.  We’d love to hear from you!

Please share if you enjoyed the article. Thanks so much!

After I submitted the note to you, I see that it shows up on the contact page rather than on the comments. So I’m not sure how you have that set up. I’m testing this section to see if it works differently here.

I’m not sure if the comments section, the contact page, and the subscribe section all deposit names to the same database. I was just pondering that when you sent this through contact. I see your other comment was listed as a comment on an article. I’ll figure it out. Until then, thank you for taking the time to visit my blog!

A contact form normally sends the private message to your email, but it should also confirm to the sender that it went through, and I never got one. Instead, it replaced the form with my message, for everyone to read. It should have sent you the message and put the form back up there for the next person. Something definitely wrong there. Unless you need a contact form for private messages, you should just use the comment form at the bottom…less confusion.

I use contact forms on my non-blog commercial sites, but on blogs, I just set them so I have to approve comments, and then they come to me anyway. If it looks like something for my eyes only, I just approve it for publication, but can still reply their private email address. Problem solved.

I am adept at most web builders, as well as WordPress and Blogger, so don’t be afraid to ask me something. If I can’t answer, I will say so, rather than lead you astray.

        Best wishes.

Correction. Left out a word. That last message was supposed to say that I “don’t” approve the comment for publication if it appears private.

    Thoughts?
