It’s cloudy, cool and breezy in Ohio.  I am sitting on my deck huddled in a chair with my tablet on my lap and my dog at my exposed, blue-tinted feet. I am cold (but not freezing) and I should stop to put some socks on.  But I don’t want disturb my groove. I am officially inspired.  I hate to say it, but it’s been a while since I felt inspired to write.

I have two RV-related articles in the hopper that are in various stages of completion, and I’m feeling angst about devoting the time to finish them.  What’s that all about?  I have always struggled with procrastination, but it’s typically with things I don’t want to do, like housework and studying.

And then I read a FB post by Kristin Snow of the Snowmads, with this hilarious article attached by Jennifer Nealy of Nealys on Wheels.  (Warning- the article has some … uh… colorful language.)  I just loved it!  I kind of forgot that there are other things to write about that don’t involve my RV and travel.

I have written things that don’t involve RVing several times, such as in Confessions of an Insectophobe and Choose Your Own Path, but those were anomalies. I suspect that I have felt a little stuck, which is what led to my procrastination.  And this hilarious article reminded me that blogging can be something different.

Maybe this is the first of a trend of articles that are more “Musings” rather than about “RVing.” I just want to feel inspired and write about something that puts a smile on my face (and hopefully yours, too).  Stay tuned…

Please share if you enjoyed the article. Thanks so much!

I know I brought this up before,,, And it is just my outlook at what you do,, RVing And i do not.. I would if long term Invest in a Trailer rather than a truck with the motor and everything you own.. A good Pick Up and a 5th wheel.. The trailer would be a lot more home than a RV,, A problem develops or your trailer is all set up at camp,,, you need shopping,, get some place fast like a hospital.. You have the pick up ready to go with out all the what ever to move out.. My camping experience was a 30′ boat and As I look back to those days,, a car would be great to take along for shopping and the Whatever s.. Stay Cool Sweetheart,,, You have done great this far…

I’m new to blogging and found this good food for thought. My blog is about life on the road in our fifth wheel so we can travel for his work on the power lines BUT I find myself wanting to post on cooking, family and other things. Makes me feel like I’m all over the place. Nice to know I’m not alone!

Thank you for saying hi! Oh, you’re definately not alone. Blogging is a labor of love. And what I’m learning is that you have to do it for you, and only you. Feeling inspired is what keeps you writing, so I think writing about the things that inspire you only makes sense! It’s so nice when people say hello (like you) and give a nice word about what you are writing. Thanks for that! I’ll definately stop by and check ou your blog. -Chris
